Negativity Bias: 'Our brains are wired for survival'

The Doomsday Clock has set its time at 90 seconds to midnight, the closest to midnight the clock has been since it was established in 1947. It is there to show the existential threat of nuclear warfare that surrounds us. The name of this, the Doomsday Clock brings such negative and fatalistic connotations that it’s hard to have a positive outlook on the world.
