When it comes to promoting the environment & nature in schools, An Taisce’s Green Schools initiative reaches 85 % of schools, and Ireland has the highest share of Green Flags of any participating country. So, why then are so many school grounds lifeless, uninspiring and grim: tarmac and not much else?
