According to the Gambling Awareness Trust, the number of people who have sought treatment for problem gambling as well as alcohol and drug addictions has increased 20-fold in just four years.The GAT has launched a nationwide counselling service that can be accessed not only by problem gamblers but by their friends and family as well.
