Kilkenny may not have, on the surface of things, seemed the most obvious place to become a hub for animation. 

But, the city hosts not one, but two multi award winning animations studio as well as a festival, Kilkenny Animated, that celebrates creativity and the craft of the visual image. Andrea was joined by Paul Young, Co- founder & Creative Director of Cartoon Saloon, Claire Finn, Managing Director at Lighthouse Studios to discuss this.
