What would you think about the GPO, the most iconic building in O’Connell Street, being repurposed?

Would it be better served as a world-class museum? What if it were to house a leading Government department? Would it make a good new home for RTÉ?

All of these have been proposed as the new Dublin City Centre Taskforce called to redevelop the GPO as a ‘major public building’.

What do you think? What purpose would you like to see the GPO fill?

To discuss, Andrea is joined by Lord Mayor of Dublin James Geoghegan, Noel Kelly, the Manager of McDowells Jewellers on O’Connell Street, Frank McDonald, Dublin Author Journalist and Rob Buchanan, who runs the Dublin Time Machine History Blog and more.
