Primary and secondary teachers across the country began work to rule today in a dispute over public sector pay.

The unions say the Government has failed to engage seriously in a new pay deal since the previous public sector agreement expired on June 30th.

A full strike is planned for Wednesday October 14th, which would close all schools.
