In recent days, Minister for Housing Darragh O’Brien has made the request to the Primate of All Ireland, Archbishop of Armagh Eamon Martin, for the Catholic Church to identify land or vacant buildings it owns that could be used as part of efforts to tackle the housing crisis.

Would it be the Christian thing to do? Doing right by the people of Ireland? Or Does this have nothing to do with them?

Adrian Kennedy was joined by Assistant Professor of Social Policy at Maynooth University, Rory Hearne, Fr Paddy Byrne and others to discuss.
