Irish shoppers have spent over €15 million on Easter eggs so far this year - despite there still being two weeks to go until Easter Sunday.

Shelves across the country have been stacked with chocolate eggs at reduced prices since January, with experts warning that cutting the cost of Easter eggs too early is fueling childhood obesity.

Ciara is joined by Dr Marian O'Reilly, Chief Specialist in Nutrition at Safe food.
