Yesterday marked World COPD ( Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease ) Day.

The disease is more commonly known as chronic bronchitis and emphysema. While awareness around illnesses such as cancer and diabetes is quite high these days, COPD still seems to be unknown to many and yet it is the third leading cause of death globally.

To discuss COPD with Andrea was founder of SingStrong, Dr Róisín Cahalan and Mary Boreland, who lives with COPD.
