Plans for a €25 million white rafting facility on Dublin’s George’s Dock were hit with a major blow after Government refused a request to fund the project.  

Dublin City Council wanted €19 million for the project which doubled in price from its initial estimated cost.  

But Minister for Local Government Darragh O’Brien, whose department oversee such funding, has refused the request. 

Ciaran Cuffe Green Party MEP for Dublin joined Andrea on the show.
