There was a lot of confusion yesterday evening about how the new Covid restrictions would affect weddings 

Last night it was reported that wedding guests would be allowed to continue celebrating after midnight if they were also residents in the hotel 

But this morning it has been made clear that this is not the case. 

All bars, including hotel bars for weddings will have to close at midnight.
