Speaking last night to Kieran here on The Hard Shoulder the boss of Dublin City Council Owen Keegan has said  that tents shouldn't be allowed on the city streets. 

Owen Keegan said there are plenty of beds available, while tents "creates a perception" that the city is unsafe. 

Andrea was joined by Alison Gilliand, Lord Mayor of Dublin, Martin Harte, from the Temple Bar Company, Cieran Perry, Dublin city councillor and member of the housing committee, along with callers who have experienced homeless hostels...
