New research has found that electric cars depreciate at a much quicker rate than petrol cars. If you buy a new electric car today it may have lost 41% of its value in just three years times, according to a study by online marketplace DoneDeal. That is compared to petrol cars which depreciate by less than a quarter, 24%, in the same time. Would this put you off ‘going electric’?
