This year was obviously dominated by Covid 19, but closely followed  by the Black Lives Matter protests and calls for greater equality and integration.  Meanwhile the importance of migrants in supporting our healthcare and essential services all the time was highlighted during the pandemic.

The Lord Mayor of Dublin, Hazel Chu took a look at inclusion & integration in 2020 with Dr Lucy Michael who is an expert on integration, diversity and equality in Ireland and the UK.

And staying on the theme of diveristy and integration, a choir which has 100 members from 24 different countries has remotely recorded a multilingual Christmas carol to offer a festive message of hope. The Fermoy International Choir in Cork released the song on social media for those left stranded away from home in the lockdown and their founder Graham Clifford also spoke to Hazel.
