In terms of manufacturing this industry actually accounts for 32% of Ireland's GDP.

Comparatively speaking, this dwarfs other European countries such as Germany whose manufacturing sector accounts for just 21%, while the European average is 15% total.

So, with such a vibrant and varied sector here in Ireland and one that is integral to the economic prosperity of the country, we decided to take a closer look.
