The Irish Times leads with: "Parents file lawsuits over Berkeley balcony tragedy".

They have taken the action against 35 named defendants in California, seeking punitive damages.

Also featured, photographs taken outside The Abbey Theatre yesterday of women in the arts protesting that the national theatre is only featuring works written by women once in every ten of its productions marking the centenary of the 1916 rising.

"State to be asked for €28 million for Turkey", that demand coming out of a summit of leaders on the refugee crisis this week.

The papers today are covered wall-to-wall in reports about former government minister Pat Carey's resignation last night.

The Independent, who broke the story go with: "I have done nothing wrong says distraught Pat Carey. Ex Minister says he is aware of innuendo about sex abuse claims."

In the Mirror: The "Save our squirrels" campaign from a town in Limerick where residents have hung "Caution, squirrels crossing" signs beside a main road. Locals want to protect red squirrels from being knocked down on the road and they want squirrel flyover to be built.

We saw shocking pictures of an Air France dispute last month of workers breaking into a management meeting before stripping their bosses and attacking them. The airline has now fired 11 employees. Unions had warned of a 'conflict without precedent' if anyone was fired.

The Star says one in three people in a long-term relationship cannot remember the last time they had sex. One in ten even admitted they no longer had a sexual relationship with their partner at all.

An Italian textile company has banned internal emails and workflow has improved as a result - Chris, who avoided a Newstalk email address for 11 years, fully supports the move.
