A young man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Dublin over the weekend in which a 25-year-old man was seriously injured.
It happened at Templeview Avenue in Clarehall at around 1am on Sunday morning.
An 18-year-old teenage man has been arrested and is being held at Coolock garda station.
Investigators say a number of people were involved in the public order incident.
The victim was taken to Beaumont Hospital for treatment.
Two other men received minor injuries.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have any information to contact Coolock Garda station, the Garda Confidential line 1800-666-111 or any Garda station.
In a seperate incident, a man is due in court this morning charged in connection with a stabbing at Beaumont Hospital itself.
A 19-year-old man was stabbed in the early hours of yesterday morning, as he was being treated for other injuries at the hospital.
Gardaí arrested a 29-year-old man in relation to the investigation and he will appear before Swords District Court.
Investigations are ongoing into several stabbings in the city over the weekend - one man was killed in an incident at Oliver Bond Street flats.
