A montage of photographs of Paris victims in The Irish Independent done in the tricolour of the French flag.

The Irish Examiner leads with: "Paris terror attacks. France launches airstrikes on IS. Large bombing campaign on Raqqa, Syria. Manhunt for suspect released after attacks."

Meanwhile, black is the colour of The Irish Times front page: "France bombs IS stronghold as Paris attacker goes on the run".

In the tabloids,

The Herald, The Sun, The Star and The Irish Daily Mail and The Irish Daily Mirror all go with the France story, and all of them have the image of Saleh Abdehslam - the suspect who got away after being stopped for questioning by authorities.

Today's other stories,

The Irish Times has the story that Anti Austerity Alliance TD Paul Murphy has now paid his property tax, after publicly ripping up his bill, because he wanted to move from an apartment to a house.

He is saying in that paper that he was forced into paying his property tax, against his will.

Ivan like Mary Minihan's piece in The Irish Times: "Five reasons why it's hard to be a nordie down south".

It touches on hot topics like the accent, roads, frugality, and tribalism.

In the Mail, Lidl is selling reindoor carpaccio - 'tis the season and all that.

And also in that paper, married men have fewer close friends. Yougov in the UK asked men if there was a big problem who would you speak to outside the family? 50% of men said there was nobody they would go to.
