A woman has been killed in a two vehicle collision in Co Monaghan.
The accident between a van and a car happened in the townland of Aghalisk, Clones Road at around 7.50am this morning.
The female driver of the car, who was in her mid-50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her body has been removed to Cavan General Hospital.
The driver of the van, in his late 50s, has been taken to hospital with injuries that gardaí say are non life threatening.
The road is currently closed to allow for a forensic examination of the scene. Local diversions are in place.
