Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a woman in her 70s was seriously injured in a crash in Dublin yesterday.
The crash happened on Ballinteer Avenue at around 7:45pm, after the woman got off a bus.
She was attempting to cross the road when she was hit by a motorbike.
She was taken to St James's Hospital and has since been transferred to Beaumont.
Her condition is understood to be critical.
The motorcyclist - a man in his 30s - was taken to St Vincent's Hospital and treated for minor injuries.
Garda forensic collision investigators have examined the scene, and gardaí say their enquiries are ongoing.
