The three African countries at the heart of the major Ebola outbreak have recorded their first weeks with no new cases of the disease since March of 2014, when the outbreak began.

According to the World Health Organisation the outbreak has so far killed more than 11,000 people in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.

New cases have fallen sharply, but the WHO has warned that the disease could break out again.
