Any mist or fog patches will lift this morning to leave a mostly dry day with hazy sunshine.

Turning cloudier from the west during the afternoon however, with light rain in western counties by evening.

Warm, with highs of 18C to 22C generally – but a little cooler in the south and along the east coast where patches of sea fog may linger.

A mostly moderate southerly breeze will increase fresh on some coasts.

TONIGHT

A band of light rain will cross the country tonight, with a clearance following from the west. Lows of 7C to 10C in a light westerly breeze.
