A cold start in the north this morning with some patchy frost.
Mostly cloudy today and largely dry; however, outbreaks of light rain will linger in southern counties through the morning and scattered wintry showers will affect northern areas.
Any rain or showers will clear early in the day with all areas dry by evening.
Some brightness also, with the best of the sunny spells in the west and north.
Cool, with highs of 6C to 8C in light to moderate westerly winds.
TONIGHT
Mainly dry tonight with a mix of cloud and clear spells.
However scattered showers will move into the north and west and cloud will increase in the south with perhaps a little drizzle in southern coastal areas by morning.
A cold, frosty night with minimum temperatures of -2C to 2C, in light winds.
