While most of us are more likely to stuff more and more kilos into our hand luggage to avoid the cost of checking in a bag at the airport, occasionally needs must, and we're left with no alternative. But have you ever wondered what happen to your suitcase when it's conveyed out of your view at 5.45am?
At Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport, we can finally see behind the thick, black rubber curtain, as they've strapped a 360° camera onto a suitcase as it zooms, like a roller-coaster ride, through the intricate and mind-bogglingly huge network of underground pathways. It's an interesting look at a very advanced system, a huge maze of interconnected belts and lifts, that might explain why some bags end up going to the wrong place.
