Rape Crisis Midwest have launched their "What Happens Next Matters" Video to develop awareness and help raise vital funds to keep their centers open.
Miriam Duffy, RCM director said, "we are delighted to be launching this powerful and hard-hitting video. We hope it begins a new conversation about sexual violence.
"Most people who are raped already know the person who raped them and have some sort of relationship with them. Survivors are never to blame. This is why what happens next matters.
"Here at Rape Crisis Midwest we offer a safe and supportive space for survivors and those impacted by sexual violence to get the information and help they need, but we rely on the support of the community to meet the demand. Everyone deserves support and the chance to heal."
The online commercial was developed for Rape Crisis Midwest by the award winning production company Cashmere Media. Everyone involved donated their services, skills and expertise free of charge in support of the work at the centre.
Some may find this video distressing.
