A Donald Trump rally in Arizona was the setting for violent scenes on Saturday night as protesters and attendees at the rally clashed.
Video footage shows a protester being attacked by someone in attendance at the rally as he is being lead out of the event by security.

Speaking after the event to the Arizona Daily Star, the man who was hit identified himself as Bryan Sanders, an independent who wanted to make his feelings known on Trump's "racism, his fascism, his lies and his women hating".
Trump's campaign manager Corey Lewandowski was also under renewed pressure after a video surfaced of him in the crowd confronting protesters. The footage was captured by Jacqueline Alemany of CBS News.

In a statement afterwards, Trump's campaign said that the footage did not show him pulling the protester by the collar, as had been claimed, and that Trump does not condone violence at his rallies.

Protesters also clashed with police in New York outside Trump Towers, as they made their feelings known on the Republican candidate's policies and rhetoric to date.
