Johnny Depp stars as notorious Bostong gangster Whitey Bolger in this new trailer for the movie Black Mass, which is set for release in September of this year. 

The cast also features some other huge stars, such as Benedict Cumberbatch and Kevin Bacon, as well as Peter Sarsgaard and Joel Edgerton. Scott Cooper, who directed Out of the Furnace, is behind the camera for this one, which tells the story of the gangster-turned-informant who played the FBI against rival crime gangs for years, giving him incredible power and control in Boston. 

After years working with an agent John Connolly in the Bureau who helped him t stay one step ahead (played by Edgerton), Bolger was eventually prosecuted and went on the run in 1994, before he was captured and arrested in 2011.
