A cinematic trailer has been released for the adaptation of Emma Donoghue's highly-praised 2010 novel 'Room.'
Centered on a captive mother and child (who is the product of rape by their captor), 'Room' follows the pair as they bid their escape to freedom.
The novel received widespread acclaim, was shortlisted for the Booker Prize and made the New York Times best-seller list.
Lenny Abrahamson, perhaps Ireland's finest contemporary filmmaker, has shown himself capable of great sensitivity in earlier outings, including Garage, What Richard did and Adam and Paul, and there's no reason to believe Room will be anything less than thrilling.
