Volkswagen has released sketches of their sixth generation Transporter (T6) ahead of its world premiere on April 15. The Transporter has been part of our street-scape since 1965 and the manufacturer has managed to have a massive impact on the commercial vehicle sector.

Volkswagen tells us that while this commercial vehicle has evolved, they are remaining true to the philosophy of “getting the job done” from their 1950 model. Details on the new Transporter’s specifications will be released closer to its debut. Volkswagen Ireland has told us that they expect the T6 to land here by September of this year.
