You may not have known, but thundersnow - when snow and thunder occur together - is a very rare occurrence. For it to happen six times is incredibly rare indeed.

So rare that a man like Jim Cantore, a meteorologist for the Weather Channel, forgets that he's been spending hours in miserable conditions and starts jumping and yelling like a madman.

It's safe to say that Cantore is very much in the right line of work.
