Though piracy on the waves isn't the hot topic it was a few years ago, a recent video shows that the threat is still very much alive.

Off the Mexican coast, near Cabo San Lucas, Tony Pescho and his friends noticed that they were being tailed by a very determined sea lion. 

The animals kept speed with the boat and was eventually able to board it. Wisely, Pescho and his friends tossed the sea lion a fish, and it was happy to depart on amicable terms.

Though unconfirmed, the sea lion in question may be Pancho, a local known for hopping onto passing boats to extort a free meal.
