The Winter Whites Gala at Kensington Palace yesterday evening attracted no shortage of well-known faces, with everyone from Benedict Cumberbatch to Jonathan Ross in attendance. Organised to support the Centrepoint charity for homeless young people, the guests paid thousands of pounds each to attend the lavish event.

Several popular musicians took to the stage to perform music for the assembled guests, including the likes of Tinie Tempah and James Blunt. However, the biggest musical surprise occurred when Jon Bon Jovi took to the stage to perform an acoustic rendition of Livin' on a Prayer. That in itself might not seem so unusual, but it took on a unique twist when Bon Jovi was joined on stage by not only country singer Taylor Swift, but also party host / Centrepoint patron Prince William himself.

Incidentally, this isn't the first time Prince William has sung Living on a Prayer in front of a lucky crowd. The Royal reportedly performed a karaoke version of the iconic song at the wedding of his country Zara Phillips.

Last night's trio was captured by someone in attendance - and perhaps by dozens more if the sea of raised smartphones in the video below is any indication. Certainly, this is one performance where the mass filming is understandable...
