‘The Putin Rap’ is a satirical take from Irish actor, and 'straight ally' of the LGBT community, Dermot Magennis.

Dermot, whose credits include The Abbey and The Gate, is hoping to make the video viral in order to raise money for Russian LGBT groups, and has so far received retweets and approval from Rubber Bandits, Harvey Milk Foundation, Peter Tatchell (gay rights campaigner in UK) and Pussy Riot.
 
The video has also received coverage from the Advocate Magazine in the US and there's a planned feature with Reuters in the coming days.
