When buying some plants to decorate your front yard, thieves are probably the last thing you'd worry about.

But this footage, captured by a security camera outside Crystal Barrett's house, shows that no item is too trivial or cumbersome for the long fingers of local thieves.

The video shows a woman pull over by the house, emerge from the car, and attempt to steal a large potted plant. However, the plant is a little more weighty than she expects, and the thief tumbles to the ground.

She even leaves her hat on the ground, which she fails to retrieve as she scampers back to her car. Indiana Jones she ain't.
