The image of Scrooge McDuck swimming and skiing through a bank vault filled with gold and coins is one of the most iconic images from animation's history. The cartoon image of a sea of coins has since become an amusing stereotype of wealth and riches. However, one lucky bidder now has the opportunity to procure their very own coin vault.

Based on a current offering on the 'luxury marketplace' James Edition, the successful - and likely very, very wealthy - bidder will come into ownership of not only a high-quality Swiss bank safe, but also the 8 million Swiss 5 cent coins (or Rappen) contained within.

The item is described as "the original bank safe from the former "Schweizer Volksbank" and known to be one of the finest Swiss piece of craftwork in the early 20th Century. It is in very good shape and still usable as a bank deposit safe. It will be removed from it's original location and be replaced anywhere in the world. You'll freely decide what happens with it." As well as the coins - or "15 tons of liquid money" - the 1912 vault also boasts 1619 safety deposit boxes (with keys) and "plinth elements of marble". It's still good for full use if the buyer ends up being an actual financial institution.

Disclaimer: It probably isn't advisable to actually swim or dive into the millions of coins, as frolicking in metal probably isn't as much fun as it seems in episodes of Duck Tales. Nonetheless, if you've ever wanted to own a whole vault of coins, and have the funds to do so, this might just be one of the best ways to make that dream come true.

The looping video below shows an efficient way of managing the coins in question. That sound would never get boring:
