The bank is the latest financial institution to re-introduce the practice of charging customers for it's services
Ulster Bank has become the latest Irish bank to introduce fees on its' current accounts.
From July, customers will pay a €4 monthly maintenance fee.
It's expected around half of the banks customer base will be hit with the fees.
Ulster Bank says customers who lodge €3,000 a month, will be exempt from paying fees.
Students, graduates and people over-60 will also have the charges waived.
The bank had to planned to introduce the fees last summer but decided against the move because of it's mammoth IT failure which saw all of it's customers in Ireland unable to access money in their accounts.
Both AIB and Bank of Ireland have already re-introduced and also set out a €3,000 minimum balance to avoid the charges.
Bank of Ireland charges €11.40 every quarter on its Flat Fee current account and it's Pay as You Go account has 28c per transaction charge.
AIB charges will typically cost a customer €30 every three months.
