With the first televised leaders debate fading in memory, today parliament dissolved and campaigning beginning, the race for number 10 is firmly underway in the United Kingdom.
Paul Staines, editor of Guido Fawkes blog, joined Shane Coleman on The Sunday Show this week to look ahead to a campaign that is already being dubbed as being too close to call.
Despite the problems of Ed Miliband’s seeming total failure to inspire the British population to back him, and that polls show the UK public feel the economy is in safer hands with David Cameron, the Tories just can’t break away, and indeed look to be up against a formidable challenge. As Staines tells Shane: “Something just isn’t working” for the Conservative party.
So what’s holding them back, and can Cameron fix it?
