Two men are to appear in court this morning following the discovery of an oil laundering plant in county Meath yesterday.

It follows a joint operation between Revenue's Customs Service and Gardai at Macetown.

The plant had the capacity to launder approximately 3 million litres of fuel per annum - with a potential annual loss to the Exchequer of €1.5 million.
