Two men have been arrested in Co Clare following the seizure of cannabis herb worth an estimated €110,000.

A van was stopped and searched in Clonmoney West, Bunratty, Co Clare yesterday afternoon at around 3.30pm.

Gardaí seized the cannabis during the search.

Two men - aged 37 and 27 - were arrested in connection with the discovery. 

They are currently being detained at Shannon Garda Station under the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act.
