Miami police officer Marcel Jackson saw a speeding car while out on patrol, so followed and pulled he car over.
As Miami police cars don't have dashboard cameras, Jackson had his own personal GoPro camera running.
He approached the car and after a few words were spoken, the driver opened his door and started to get out and a brawl began.
Two other officers rush to the scene and pile on top of the man. It is only then that one realises that the driver is a local police lieutenant, Lt. David Ramras.
Jackson said that Ramras tried to pull rank on him, ordering him to go back to his car rather than issue him a speeding ticket.
After the altercation, Jackson said to Ramras: “Yo, I don’t know who you are bro, you don’t jump out on me. I don’t care if you’re a lieutenant or whoever you are.”
In a final twist, officer Jackson was suspended with pay while the incident is being investigated but Lieutenant Ramas was merely reassigned within the police department.
