Windy today with strong southerly winds during the morning, changing to westerly this afternoon.

Showers will mainly occur in western and southern counties this morning, but a spell of heavier showery rain will spread eastwards during the middle of the day.

Highest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees.

Tonight

It will become mostly dry and clear this evening and early tonight with lowest temperatures of 2 to 4 degrees and ground frost for a time.

Cloud will increase later in the night bringing scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle.

South to southwesterly winds will strengthen by the end of the night.
