Mostly dry in midland, eastern and southern areas but there will be some patchy rain in the south.
Afternoon temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees, in fresh and gusty southerly winds, strong on western and northwestern coasts.

Breezy and becoming wet countrywide tonight with a spell of heavy rain in all areas for a time.
A clearance to scattered showers will follow eastwards later in the night with the rain clearing eastern coasts around dawn.
Turning cooler as the fresh and gusty southerly winds veer westerly.
Lowest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees.
