Some of showers will be thundery and of hail, with even some sleet or snow possible on higher ground further west.

Long clear spells tonight but a few heavy, possibly thundery showers too, most of which will affect Atlantic coastal counties. A sharp frost will develop as westerly winds fall off light, along with some mist and fog patches.
