The airline behind two of the worst aviation disasters in history seemed to think a competition called 'My Ultimate Bucket List' was a good idea.
Malaysia Airlines have suffered a huge decline in passengers since the recent MH17 and MH370 tragedies and have been looking at ways to promote themselves in a positive way.
The marketing department must have thought running a competition with some great prizes was just the thing to get the company some well needed positive publicity.
And it could have worked... if they had themed the competition on something other than death.
Their “ultimate bucket list” competition encouraged potential passengers to share what they wanted to do before their deaths to win prizes.

Considering that Flight MH370 disappeared with 227 passengers and 12 crew members on board with all presumed dead, the competition could be considered to be in bad taste.
The airline's last disaster occurred only last month when Flight MH17 was shot down while flying over eastern Ukraine, killing all 283 passengers and 15 crew members on board.
The contest now appears to be withdrawn from the company's website but was open to travellers in Australia and New Zealand.
