A Dublin man aged in his 30s has pleaded not guilty to the murder of Romanian teenager Marioara Rostas who went missing six years ago.

Alan Wilson from New Street Gardens was arraigned at the Central Criminal Court just before midday.

He is accused of murdering Marioara Rostas (18) on January 7th or 8th of 2008 at a house in Brabazon Street in Dublin 8.

His reply to the charge was 'not guilty'.

A jury of seven women and five men has been sworn in for the trial, which will start before Mr. Justice Patrick McCarthy on Monday.

it is expected to last three to four weeks.
