Anglo Irish Bank’s former chairman Sean Fitzpatrick is set to go on trial.

The Commercial Court has been told a legal action by the Quinn family against IBRC could last up to 9 months.

/> Sean Quinn’s wife Patricia and their 5 adult children are challenging Anglo debts of 2.3 billion euros claiming the loans are tainted with illegality.

Mr Justice Peter Kelly has set April 9th next as a hearing date.
