Children of Jason Corbett placed under guardianship of their aunt and uncle

The children of Jason Corbett have been placed under the guardianship of Jasons' sister, their aunt Tracey, and her husband David Lynch.

The family hope to be able to bring them back to Ireland by next Saturday, sources close to the family have said.

The 39-year-old Limerick native died in a violent incident at his home in the US last week.

98fm presenter Johnny Lyons has died

98fm have this evening confirmed that sports broadcaster Johnny Lyons has died.

Lyons was the station's sports editor, having worked there for over 20 years.

Keith McCormack, Chief Executive of 98FM said: "The entire station is devastated with the sudden passing of a beloved colleague. Johnny, with his larger than life personality, was loved by all listeners and colleagues alike. He was a huge part of the 98FM family and will be dearly missed, we would like to extend our deepest sympathies to his family at this time. May he rest in peace".

How was Ireland portrayed to millions of Chinese last night?

Tourism Ireland was heavily involved in a major Chinese documentary on Ireland that aired last night.

Glamorous Ireland, a 45-minute programme, was beamed to a global audience of Chinese people by CCTV 4.

It opened to the theme tune from Riverdance, but got better from there. Managing to leave aside most of the old stereotypes the programme showcased the best of Ireland's history, food, drink, learning culture and natural beauty.

Adultery website hackers follow through on threat to post data online

Hackers who stole the personal and private details of users of an adultery dating website claim to have released the data on to the internet.

In July, AshleyMadison.com - which specialises in adulterous relationships - was hacked by a group calling themselves Impact Team.

At the time, they threatened the website owners, Avid Life Media, saying they would release the data unless the website was taken down.

Now, Sky News reports that just less than 10Gb of the data, including user names, email addresses, passwords and bank details, has been published on the dark web.

Gardaí continue search for Ciara Breen in Co Louth

Gardaí are continuing to search an area of bogland in Co Louth today for missing 17-year-old Ciara Breen.

She was last seen by her mother Bernadette in the early hours of February 13th 1997.

The pair had gone to bed shortly after midnight, but when Mrs Breen got up to use the bathroom in the night she noticed that her daughter was not in her room.

Mrs Breen told gardaí that Ciara had not taken any clothes or money with her, and believed she went to meet someone.

She never saw her daughter again.
