The Tánaiste is tonight expected to deliver a speech that will try and convince rank and file Labour supporters that he's prepared to fight for Labour in next year's elections.

Meanwhile SIPTU boss Jack O'Connor will address the party and concerns about them being in Government with a party on the right.
