Becoming mainly dry early tonight in the eastern half of the country but showers will affect western areas overnight, some heavy along the Atlantic seaboard. Winds veering southwesterly will remain fresh to strong, with gales occurring in exposed parts of the west later. Lowest temperatures 10 to 12 degrees Celsius.
