Frost, mist and any icy patches will gradually clear this morning to leave a dry day in most areas today, Thursday, with just well scattered light showers.

The best of the sunshine will be in the west and north of the country, but the cloud will thin out at times elsewhere, especially towards evening.

Cool with highs of 7C to 9C in a light to moderate north to northeast breeze.

TONIGHT

Dry, cold and mostly clear tonight with a widespread sharp frost and a risk of icy stretches.

Lows of -3C to 1C in mainly light to moderate northeast breezes with isolated mist patches.
